Join NYPD officers on Tuesday, August 1st to meet members of your local precinct, including commanding officers, patrol officers, neighborhood coordination officers, crime prevention, youth officers and more! The nationwide event offers an activity-packed evening to interact with your neighbors, community and local business leaders who share the common goal of keeping our neighborhood safe.

As our local officers work daily to keep our neighborhood safe, National Night Out offers a chance to show our appreciation for their work in the neighborhood.

Join in for games activities for all ages, food and more at the following locations:

USP’s Executive Director, Jennifer Falk, and Operations Team, Tom DiRusso and McLawrence Glynn, present Midtown South Precinct Honoree Police Officer Alberto Ortiz with his “Officer of the Year” Award for his service to NYC.

In the neighborhood we call home, we are lucky to have the protection and support of multiple NYPD precincts working tirelessly to keep the district safe. At the annual Safe City Safe Street luncheon, along with our partners at Con Edison, NYU, Mount Sinai and Buchbinder & Warren, we were honored to sponsor and recognize NYC Police Department Commissioner O’Neill and the Greenwich Village Chelsea Chamber of Commerce’s “Officer of the Year” honorees from the 6th, 9th, 10th, 13th and Midtown South Precincts, as well as our partners at Transit District 4 for all they do for our community.
