Harvest in the Square | We kicked off the season on the first day of fall celebrating our vibrant community and culinary scene at the 21st Annual Harvest in the Square, raising a record $378,000 for Union Square Park and the surrounding neighborhood. 13. New Fast Casual on 4th Avenue | Lunch is easier than ever with so many fantastic grab-and-go options on 4th Avenue, just south of 14th Street. Crowds are lining up for the New York debuts of Cava Grill and The Pokè Spot, which join lunch favorites Dos Toros and Glaze, creating a corridor of delicious fast casual eateries. Later this season The Melt Shop opens its doors on the same block (Grilled cheese and tomato soup, please!).

You’ve seen Cava’s lineup of dips + spreads (Hummus, Tzatziki, Crazy Feta, and more) decorating the aisles of our local Whole Foods Market.
