The Vineyard Theatre’s 2016 – 2017 season is in full swing with the New York premiere of Kid Victory. Acclaimed composer John Kander (Chicago, Cabaret) and gifted playwright Greg Pierce (Her Requiem) set the stage, while award-winning director Liesl Tommy brings their story to life. Kander and Pierce previously teamed up in the Vineyard to write the beguiling series of love tales, The Landing.

The story centers on the return of 17-year-old Luke, who returns to his small town in Kansas one year after disappearing. Upon his return, the audience follows the captivating dynamic of Luke’s conservative family being forced to confront the unnerving truth about his disappearance.

The show runs weekly Tuesday through Sunday, with each performance running for approximately 2 hours with no intermission. Find the complete calendar and buy tickets here.

Following Kid Victory, the Vineyard will finish its season with the sharp and timely Gina Gionfriddo drama Can You Forgive Her?, debuting at the Vineyard in May.
