Several new dining spots have popped up along Park Avenue South ranging from formal sit down dining experiences to delicious casual dining on the go. Florian Café opened late last year on Park Avenue South offering classic Italian dishes interpreted by Bologna-born chef Brando de Oliveira. The menu features pastas made in house, fresh produce from the Union Square Greenmarket, thin crust pizza, local and imported fish, prime steaks and veal chops. Just a block south, Morton’s Steak House is getting into the casual dining craze with Morton’s Grille. Keeping the sophistication you’d expect from Morton’s Steak House, the restaurant features items such as bacon fat braised ribs, tuna poke with soy caramel sauce, shrimp and smoky grits, and Morton’s prime burger, to name a few. Finally, Wok to Walk brings Thai street food to Union Square East. The menu offers delicious, flexible, healthy and affordable grab-and-go meals.
