This Saturday the 22nd and Sunday the 23rd, experience a fully staged production of Manuel de Falla’s flamenco masterpiece El Amor Brujo at the Salvatore Capezio Theater at Peridance during this year’s Flamenco Festival. Heralded by The New York Times as “One of the year’s biggest dance events in New York City,” the Flamenco Festival New York comes direct from Spain and showcases a variety of flamenco performances throughout the city. This performance is presented by the Spanish flamenco cantaora Rocio Bazan and Union Square’s very own Peridance Contemporary Dance Company with choreography by Igal Perry, and the Perspectives Ensemble conducted by Angel Gil-Ordonez.
