The Real Deal reports that Urban Compass (presently named Compass) is moving into a 9,000 sf space at 19 Union Square West. This will be the second New York office for the tech-centric residential brokerage firm. The company is one of the most well-funded startups, raising almost $33 million since its launch in May.
“We’re really excited about expanding into a second office less than a year after we launched,” said Sofia Song, a former top executive at StreetEasy who joined Urban Compass in January. “‘I’m happy to say that the company is growing as we continue to hire more of the city’s most experienced and smartest agents.”
