On October 24th, the Union Square Partnership is hosting a free Small Business Forum and networking event on emergency preparedness. The event will feature a special presentation by Jack Smith, Director of Enterprise Business Continuity for Synovus. Mr. Smith has provided leadership during numerous incidents, including the LaSalle Bank fire in 2004, which was the largest skyscraper fire in Chicago’s history, displacing more than 3,000 employees and causing more than $50 million dollars in damage. Due to Mr.Smith expertise, despite the magnitude of the fire, the LaSalle Bank never needed to file a business interruption claim with its insurance company. Attend this forum to ensure you are never unprepared and driven out of business by an unexpected event. Registration closes on Wednesday, October 17th and space is limited. Did we mention there’s a free continental breakfast?
