Following a glowing review in the NYTimes, we decided to check out Ngam, the new neighborhood source for “modern Thai comfort food” spot on East 13th Street and 3rd Avenue. We went for the gold and decided to dive in and try the branzino plate. The fish, served whole (minus bones), came filled with Thai basil, wild ginger, and green peppercorns. It was delicious! We will definitely return to try the rest of the menu. Two enthusiastic thumbs up.
